vertigo-estimate

Features

Estimates the number of domains the filesystems that vertigo uses. More specifically, vertigo controlled domains use X bytes of storage, vertigo controls Y domains, so each domain uses roughly X / Y bytes. Then based on the number of free bytes available it is possible to calculate an estimate for how many domains a filesystem can support.

Directories

• cache To avoid pestering the administrator with too many similar mails, vertigo-estimate maintains the previous estimates, and only logs the estimates if they changed since previous run.

Caculates estimates for the following services

• vertigo-apache Calculates sizes of web data.
• vertigo-mysql Calculates sizes of databases.
• vertigo-postgresql Calculates sizes of databaes.
• vertigo-backup Calculates the sizes of backups (web and databases).
