Not as touching as i would have believed, and a bit too predictable and old-fashioned. Don't get me wrong, Denzel is wonderful as Rubin Carter, it's just, ahh, i don't know, it's just too pretty i think.

But watch it, if not only for the 5 seconds of Dylan.

The directing, lighting, sets and camera-work is spectacular in this movie, and in my oppinion some of Spielberg's best works in that department.

The story is engaging, but a bit longish at times, i my oppinion Spielberg should decide whether this should be an "extremely-cool agents-kills-agents" movie, or more of a "story with a message".

I think Spielberg's love for making movies makes it impossible for him to only make the latter.

Still, very watchable, and very Spielberg.

Let me start of by saying: the acting in this movie is supperb. The story is touching without being actually heart-breaking. Very good, without being a masterpiece.

Quite enjoyable, a bit more intelligent than current day action movies, but then again a bit slower as well.

Do you know the feeling when you sit down to see a movie for, what you think is, the first time. Then, as soon as the title screen comes on, you know that you've seen it before, and you loved it. But when you are finished seing it for the first time, it was even better than you remembered it.

It happened for me when i saw "To Live" by Yimou Zhang for the second time, and it happended again with "All about my mother" - incredibly good performances all the way around, and this Cecilia Roth, which i've only seen in a couple of movies, is just fantastic!

Philip Seymour Hoffman and Dylan Baker, i praise thee - one of the most fascinating, shocking, surprising, repulsive and amusing movies if have ever seen.

As much as i like Philip Seymour Hoffman, this movie never really makes it beyond ok.

Very funny, very coloured, but unfortunaetely it dies a bit in the middle. But a great movie nevertheless.

Definaetely a great movie, and wonderfully strange, but a bit to hyped in my oppinion.
