laptop-location
Configure your laptop (or any system really) to where you are at, at the given moment. Automatically decides the right location based on some simple location specific details that the user defines. Based on this location proxies can be set up/disabled, X11 configurations can change, and pretty much anything can happen.
I'm hoping that some day in the future i will be able to implement gnome frontends for editing the locaitons and actions.
It would also be nice if a "You are at an unrecognized location" dialog box would pop up when you use your laptop somewhere new, and then you could tell it how to identify the location (domain name, ip-address, etc.) and create that as a new location.
Documentation
Actions descibes the actions that are currently implemented.
Locations describes the different commands that can be used to identify a location.
